VoIP Mechanic respects the privacy of our users and does not sell, lease or otherwise give your subscription email address or any other personal information we may receive to any outside party, unless requested by you.  Registration for our Newsletter requires a valid email address, but is used solely to distribute information that we deem useful and helpful.  We may however forward an inquire with your email address to a trusted provider and/or other equipment service company, if you submit a request for a suggestion for a service. To prevent unauthorized access and ensure that our commitment to privacy is kept intact we have in place electronic, physical and management procedures.  At any time, you may remove your email address from our user database, just by clicking on the included email address unsubscribe, which we place on each newsletter we send out. 

We do not use, nor do we condone the use of spy-ware, spam, pop-ups or any other malicious software.

VoIP Mechanic does display advertisements, but we only allow ads to be displayed on our pages that are relevant.  These ads can provide useful information and we believe that advertising can be effective without being distracting or bothersome.  We don't use or display pop-up advertising, which interferes with your ability to see the content and information you are interested in.
