Cisco/Linksys ATA Star Codes

Cisco/Linksys VoIP Star Codes

Linksys/Sipura  (Now Cisco/Linksys) VoIP ATAs have built in Starcodes which activate certain features and can be used to toggle these features on or off.  These star-codes may or may not be active with your particular VoIP provider, but are part of the firmware in many Cisco/Linksys ATAs.  Some like Call Forward, Call Waiting Activation and Block Caller ID are widely known and used, while others like Distinctive Ring Activate Code may be little known or used.

We have listed the Star Codes and highlighted certain ones that may be more widely used.  In any event, check with your provider for which ones are available and active with your service.
